If you are lucky to be able to get an apartment
in an assisted living residence, then you will have what's called
'assessments' every 6 months or so. You will be assessed on dressing
and grooming, shower assistence, escort service, bladder control,
medication assistance, emotional status relating to interactions
with others, therapy, personnel safety. and other. The systems
are fair and convenient. We never experienced any inappropriate
assessment. In fact, everyone tried to keep the points as low
as possible to keep costs down. |
