There was a full minute of this mood music before the spot suddenly caught Kitten Carter. At first all you saw were the great glowing green eyes in the perfect face, then you noticed the soft blond halo. The only jewelry she wore were pearls, aside from the small high pointed breasts that pressed so insistently agains her black satin gown. She was a small, slim girl, perhaps twenty-three or four, Kennedy estimated, maybe five foot two and a hundred and ten pounds. You had to admit that every pound was in exactly the right place.
