The Standing Stretch is a neat stretch for developing balance. It is safe to do since it distributes the torque across all rotator muscles so no single joint experiences isolated stress. You can perform this stretch in a chair by raising your linked hands above your head and rotating left and right. But be careful - only go half way! The seated method isolates the lower back muscles and exerts more torque so be careful! Take responsibility for exercising safely. more exercises... | |
