I was born in New York City, June 28, 1949, at 5:00PM in the Sloan's Hospital for Women. My brother Ted and I grew up in River Edge, New Jersey. A suburb 10 miles NorthEast of New York City. We lived in a 4 bedroom, Ries, 2-story home that sold for $11,500 in 1949! Mom always said she didn't know how we were going to make the payments! She wore one housecoat for 5 years and got a weekly allowance of $10! | ||||||||

We would visit Nannie at W218th
Street in Inwood section of New York City, right across from the
Columbia boathouse. Here are some
photos from the late 1940's of brother Ted at the Baker Park, Uncle
Bill Wolf, Uncle Ken, Uncle Lew, and Uncle Bill. |

I was a member of the local DeMolay Chapter in Hackensack, New Jersey and achieved the role of Master Councilor. I didn't understand the meaning of the White Rose, an embedded symbol of DeMolay, until I read "The DeVinci Code!" |
